Enhance Collaboration
Project Sakinah works with organizations around the country, including national
and regional organizations, advocacy organizations, local agencies and direct services
providers, Mosques, and Imams. Our role is to call attention to the needs of our
families and youth and to help organize programming to meet these needs. You can
find a list of some of the organizations with whom we collaborate
here
Project Sakinah encourages and guides local teams as they discover the services
that already exist in their communities, and determine the best way to make use
of these resources to assist the community. Our teams develop relationships with
local Imams and masajid, with police departments, local and state agencies that
provide child and family services, advocacy organizations, social workers, mental
health clinicians, attorneys, and others who serve the social needs of the community.
