Research

Research into the issue of violence within Muslim families is need for a number of reasons.

• To make it clear within our own community that this problem exists at levels that call for greater community attention.
• To discover the extent of the resources that currently exist to serve those coming from violent families, and
• To identify the best practices for dealing with the variety of issues that arise consequent to family violence so that we may disseminate these best practices more widely in the community.
